John R. “Buster” Brown for Collin County Judge

Experienced leadership. Practical judgment. A Collin County government focused on the community it serves.

Why Buster

Collin County needs leadership that plans ahead.

These are the priorities Buster Brown is putting at the center of his campaign for County Judge.

Fiscal Conservatism Is Not the Same as Fiscal Management

Collin County taxpayers deserve a government that spends carefully, plans ahead, and gets results. Chris Hill is far too often on the losing side of 4–1 and 3–2 votes on Commissioners Court. Saying “no” is easy. Responsible fiscal management means doing the hard work of building a budget, setting priorities, and making sure taxpayers get value for every dollar.

Public Safety Is More Than Saying You Support Law Enforcement

Public safety means making sure the people responsible for keeping Collin County safe have the staffing, equipment, facilities, and resources they need before shortages become emergencies. Political slogans are not a substitute for competent management, thoughtful budgeting, and planning ahead for a fast-growing county.

Stop Wasting Tax Dollars on Political Stunts

Chris Hill wasted $2.3 million of our tax dollars changing Collin County’s brand new, well-functioning voting system to a time-consuming paper-ballot system in response to Donald Trump’s unconstitutional election executive order.

Justice Shouldn’t Depend on Who You Know

For nearly a decade, Chris Hill fought paying the special prosecutors assigned to the Ken Paxton case—a fight that dragged on for a decade before being swept under the carpet. While Hill and the county fought over the bill, a sitting Attorney General facing serious criminal charges kept his case in limbo. Voters deserve a County Judge focused on making sure justice moves forward—not one whose years-long legal fights help powerful people avoid accountability for even longer.
